Stir-fry recipes are great since once you get the basic steps down, you can apply similar stir-fry recipes in much of the same fashion. Very versatile this technique! i usually prefer to serve this over white jasmine rice, but if there's a particular kind that you like, use that instead.

6 arrowroot bulbs, peeled and sliced .5 cm thick
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cooking oil
.5 kg pork loin, thinly sliced
2 stalks welsh onions, green part cut into 2 cm length pieces, white parts finely chopped
dash of oyster sauce (if you don't have this, worcestershire or soy sauce will do)
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat oil in a pan or work, quickly brown garlic, then brown pork until done. Add in a couple dashes oyster sauce, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup water. Throw in welsh onion greens and cover, simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped welsh onion and pepper, serve over rice.

D'oh! completely forgot: add the arrowroot slices after browning the pork!

You've got me except for the Eggplant. I've tried to like it. I really have. I just can't enjoy the stuff.

i prefer Chinese eggplants, they have more flavour than the garden variety you can get at the supermarket.

Do they still smell like eggplant?

really light, didn't really impress me that much. it's your basic pilsner, though definitely a step up from Budweiser. probably better off with Budvar if you're into the pilsner types :3

ah, so it's just another random Chinese beer.

They need microbrews in China!

i know, right? everywhere in Asia it only seems to be pilsners and Heineken. at least with Heineken it's barely halfway decent. Japanese beers, though, seem to have a greater variety available, just expensive!

Haha, I went to my friends page without logging in and this entry said "This entry might contain content that is not suitable for minors,"

So of course I made some assumptions with the title "Need to make this journal more tasty". Maybe a cock-n-balls doughnut from VooDoo Three? :D
