pregnant brain

And it's because I am pregnant (and, apparently, a slacker of the worst kind) that I find that I am ignoring my friends, hardly speaking to anyone outside of my little "bubble" for weeks on end because I am simply too TIRED to do anything outside of my normal routine. How sad is that? I find myself starting nearly every email (or the rare actual ( Read more... )

Puhleez. You have the 1st trimester sleepies. I used to need a nap after I took a shower. No worries from me, I know you'll be back to causing hate and discontent soon!

I think you know how I feel about the names :)

Oh! I like Garrett, but if he has red hair.. carrot. Meh. Gavin? Does that do anything for you?

I'm just a ball of sleepy hate right now. *yaaawngrowlyawn*

Gavin doesn't do much for me...remember my cousin Neil? That was his boyfriend's name, and I thought it was "Kevin" and mistakenly called him that forever. Mih.

Ella Corinne? Ty Finley?

Still on the Jack Finley side of the fence but I do like Ty. Corinne is one of my all time favorites :)

I feel horrible that I didn't even know you were pregnant!

I love the name Ella, and Jack Finley has my vote. I adore the name Jack.

Whenever thinking of names I always use the process how does the name work for a toddler? A tween? A teen? A college kid? A professional? An old person?

i.e. Lexie is cute for a little girl, kinda sexy for a tween and just plain odd for a grandma (to me). "HEY! Grandma Lexie! Can I have a soda?"

Doesn't work.

IMO, Ella works in all these situations. And doesn't really rhyme with anything bad or weird.

I like Finley, you can be "Fin" or even "Lee" if you want.

Of course, my "kids" are a dog named Molly, and fish named Clem, Lester, Darwin, Waldo, Herman and the twins yet to be named.
