i haven't written in a long time cause things are very good and i'm not required to sit at a computer with lots of down time. but... yeah, things are good. i was invited to a wedding at the end of february which could be okay except i'll have to act fake nice (instead of normal nice) and go buy something nice that i'll probably not wear again

Sorry I haven't called you back yet, from your phone call last week. I'm trying to organize my life as the new quarter is starting. I'm teaching a different class this quarter that I feel will suck the life out of me. I only hope I can make some of the undergrads cry like you make your kids cry. Though, I will NOT throw candy at them, they will get no sympathy from me, thank you very much. :)

it's definitely a talent i've acquired over time, you can do it too... trying taking their favorite crayon away or telling them it's time to clean up their games and go to class, that's sometimes all it takes. maybe it'd be the same with 18-year-olds?

call me whenever you can, i can always come up to la jolla (the whole 5-minute drive from clairemont!) after work and meet you for happy hour or something, squeeze me in for even 45 minutes, i don't mind.

i have to deal with adults crying every once in a while. maybe i will try throwing candy at them....

careful, you gotta aim low enough so they don't get hit in the head and the crying gets worse... fortunately, i have not had to learn that one the hard way, i just had enough time to think over the idea since yesterday.
