The Lego re-enactment of Eddie Izzard is just fucking gold. I laughed and the maintenance guy working outside my office probably thinks I'm mental. heh.

I want to see Lego re-enactment of his bit about the British and the flags.

But this island belongs to us. We're here first.

Well, do you have a flag?

My girlfriend and I quote it all the time at each other. It just takes one mention of "Penne Alla Arrabiata" to set us off.

"This one's wet. And this one's wet. This one is wet, this one is wet. Did you dry these in a rainforest?"
Fried Gold.

Also, here :)

Hehehe, glad to have introduced you to it.
It's one of those things that made me laugh out loud on first viewing :)

Glad you had a great time at the concert. For whatever reason (shifting musical tastes, mostly) I stopped listening to Depeche Mode after the release of Black Celebration (an album I really loved), but I did see them during the Music for the Masses tour. Now I feel very very old. :)

I love Black Celebration.
I've only really been listening to DM for less than 2 years, but I listen to that one a lot.
I don't really know their 90s albums much, but their last 2 are pretty good (especially Playing the Angel) and Violator is one of my favourite albums ever.

We were at the young end of the audience members on Thursday but honestly, the relative lack of twerps gave a +1 to my enjoyment.

I haven't heard anything past Violator, but I'm glad to hear that they're still putting out music that people like!

And, yes, sometimes shows are so much better without the teen dweebs.

Awesome.

Have fun at Eddie Izzard. And it can never hurt to see one of his skits again, especially with the added bonus of Lego.

FYI

I always thought that avatar was from the Lego reenactment of the Bible. Now I know.

And knowing is half the battle.

Now I'm trying to figure out what Bible story this could be.

I was thinking this is Abrahama's sacrifice of his son.

No, I cant' explain the cake, either. But to be fair, in this resolution, it did not look like cake.

Loved the lego skit.

I'm seeing DM in a little over a month. Good to hear that they are in form.
