"the trees were all decked out in their best fall colors"

October makes me miss New England. The weather is so unpredictable-- yesterday it was practically pool conditions and today I almost froze walking between classes. Well, weather.com says it's 59 degrees (and sunny, which is true)-- not actually that cold. But it's only 9 degrees cooler in Hanover. The cold just seems inappropriate here. And sudden ( Read more... )

I'm so ready for leaves. They'll get here. Eventually. Sigh.

Additionally, DON'T COLOR YOUR HAIR.

I did it (black) and I totally regret it. I spent all day Tuesday at the salon trying to get it back to my natural color, and it's never going to happen. Now it's reddish brownish, and I'm still dissatisfied. I'll be dying it forever.

Sigh.

Sorry. Anyway. I never knew that about the Atl zipcode; that's kind of excellent.

And I hope you're excellent, too. :)

But when they get here... are they gorgeous? Or mediocre? Because so far I've seen a lot of mediocrity, color-wise. Not to sound like a snob or anything. But I guess I kind of am one.

oh my gosh, you dyed your hair?? and the salon couldn't restore your old hair?? that's like a nightmare. I loved the color of your hair-- although I'm sure it's still gorgeous now. However. Won't your old color restore itself when it grows out? (maybe I'm totally ignorant about how this works)

on the other hand, now you have license to do whatever the fuck you want with it. it'll be like an adventure.

I'm doing pretty well up here. How about you? How's Macon? when are you coming to visit Atlanta? =)

Hmm, well, somehow I doubt that Georgia leaves compare to NH leaves. I had this chem teacher in high school who was always pining for your home state based on leaves...they're pretty for me, though. Hah.

As far as hair dye, yeah, I guess if it grows out my old color would be restored, but I can't stand the idea of being a calico cat. The idea now is that I let it grow out, and as it grows, I dye it progressively closer to my natural color. It's a little shoddy, but it might work.

I'm doing fairly well; Macon's ghetto as ever. I need to come visit youuuu. I knew there was a reason I should have bought Death Cab tickets. :(

I am writing you a comment to let you know I read this. I'm glad college has settled in more easily than it did for me.

That is altogether too much money to pay for "Atlanta."
