i have pinkeye for the second time in my life,

and the new release of Elliott Smith recordings (New Moon) has an older version of "Miss Misery" that's even more heartbreaking.

There's a girl in my linguistics class who licks her fingers. All. The. Time. I don't just mean she licks her thumb & forefinger in order to turn a page, or chew on a nail. But she is just constantly putting her fingers up to her mouth and-- there are no good synonyms for this-- licking them. For no purpose! They must be wet all the time ( Read more... )

It's days like these that I know I totally made the right choice in moving South. it is currently 63 degrees Fahrenheit AND IT'S THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY. It's been cloudy but it still feels amazing to be outside. also I just checked & it's 12 degrees in Hanover. I was never very good at dealing with the cold.
