Waiting

And now I sit and wait. Soon I will be in St. Louis studying Hebrew 24 hrs. a day. Until then, I wait here in Hemlock and start to pack...well...unpack from CUAA first and then pack for St. Louis. I leave on the 18th to drive down there, I think. It's coming up quickly, but yet it's still 18 days away. I feel like I'm in limbo right now. ( Read more... )

Good Luck in St. Louis. I hope God continues to bless you there as He did here with your presence. :-) Who knows? If we don't see each other again, maybe our kids will and bring out embarassing pictures from old yearbooks and share them with others. It's a small Lutheran world after all!

P.S.

If you are studying Hebrew 24 hours a day, does it make time go backwards?

You know you rule roggow. You're exactly right - leaving friends suck, but you have to move on. In a year or so you'll become closer to some and drift from others. Enjoy the limbo phase - do a lot of this last entry in your head because you will never feel this way again in your life. Listen to Kenny Chesney "No shirt, no shoes, no problems" and drink some beer knowing that you are a college grad and that you will know hebrew in two months.
