Looks like it is at the South end of Boston Common. There's a subway stop right there on the Green Line so its easy to get to other places in the city without driving.

If you want to try some good bbq, get over to the Red Line and head north to Sommerville, getting off at the Davis station. Just a couple blocks from there is Redbones BBQ. Good food, but watch out for the jerked beef. It's insanely hot. http://www.redbones.com/

Mmm, barbecue. Thanks for the tips. Looks like we'll be going in December--I may ask for further hints from my friends list as the trip gets closer.
