MEME alert (avoid if you're allergic to them): iTunes

No time like the present to be reminded of how badly my iTunes library needs culling. Back in the early days of iTunes, it seemed like a good idea to merge libraries w/the gf. Now I think tune collections should be treated like toothbrushes: to each his own.

I used to love neutronjockey ...but how *could* he post such a *distraction*!

Your list is ever so much more interesting than mine. I happened to have a full load of classical, so mine were all "Suite in F major, HWV 348, Allegro - Andante - Allegro da capo (Handel); Pictures At an Exhibition: III. Promenade (Mussogorski); Hirtengesang. Frohe und dankbare Gefühle nach dem Sturm, Allegretto (Beethoven)"...

I had to look up which piece was which -- I don't know the names of the movements off the top of my head -- so I gave up rather quickly.

It was a LONG list! It was interesting to see which tunes shuffling picked. Not in proportion to library contents at all. Classical is the Mango's favorite, so we've got heaps of it. A lot of the names aren't really enlightening answers to questions though :-)
