Oral Adventures - not what it might have meant 20 years ago

Alas, one reaches a certain age, and it's not pron. It's a trip to the oral surgeon.

Personable fellow, and the regional specialist. He was quite keen on the internal resorption thing, and had called both his interns in to take a look. My x-rays were also happily shown and discussed with the trainees. Apparently my roots are deep. He said to put it ( Read more... )

Hopefully! There was infection, so keep fingers crossed that it was all removed so bone graft takes smoothly. It does feel better, which is nice!

Awwww, too bad it wasn't the other kind of adventure.

I hope this fixes what needs fixing. I'm almost immune to novacaine. It wears off super-fast and you can inject me with tons and tons and I'll still feel stuff. My dentist said it's a genetic thing and that my mom is the exact same way. Weird, but interesting...

My thought EXACTLY! One of the interns was a cute young thing, which prompted a lot of silent snickering at the ironies.

Of all the genetic things to pass along - was that really necessary? Novacaine is so *useful*!!
