Day 1
I find it fairly easy to slip into my routine. Play computer, drink beer. It's almost like nothing has changed if I can forget myself.
Distracting noises are still an issue. My temper around the dogs is nearly uncontrollable. -
Day 0.5
Every noise from the TV is the sound of my children in the other room.
Every movement from the dogs is the sound of the car pulling up to the driveway. -

Shifted Focus
I've shifted my posting over to Google+. I will mainly come back here for long posts, or anything sports related (for which I also have Twitter). However, G+ is quicker, more convenient, and lets me post unlimited pictures, so....yeah. It's also a much better feed for friends, especially those who use Gmail. -
