White Hen Pantry, Antioch

Just a friendly little warning to some of the locals!

Some of you when visiting may occasionally stop at the White Hen Pantry at North Ave and 83, for gas or snacks. It is my recommendation that you no longer do so. genet stopped there this morning, for gas and a soda. This is normal enough; we're nearly regulars there, living fairly close by

Wow. I think, given not being in a tearing hurry or anything, I would probably allowed them to call the cops and show their video. Just to watch the reaction of the cop to such blatant stupidity. *Then* informed them of the lost business.

But, I'm bitchy that way.

Yeah, would've been fun to see them try and explain it to the cops. It'd be like that kid in Better Off Dead. "$2! I want my $2!" Unfortunately, she had to get to work, and had to pay $7 and swallow her pride to avoid getting written up.

Unfortunately, my employer is... rather draconian about being on time. The hassle of being to work late far outweighed the benefit of showing the clerk how stupid it was.

Even with the video... I paid the total I was given. When a clerk tells me I owe $10, I'm going to give them $10.

That is just rude. I am a frequent visitor to a local White Hen myself. That is so stupid for them to treat you that way if you're regulars. Well, their loss. I will make sure never to stop at the one in Antioch. I'd probably start crying if someone did that to me. =^.^=
