So i dont use this damned thing that often anymore. Which is to say i never really posted all that often, so now is not too different. HOWEVER, it seems that many of my friends are abandoning this service as well. Which means i dont even comment on peoples posts. Let's see...

If you've got a lot of time and are looking for an entertaining way to lose it, MSPaintAdventures is great for it. Basically this guy has set up several stories in the form of text-based adventure games, and has forwarded them through user-submitted suggestions. The puzzles are clever, the characters, pretty enthralling, and some of the themes...well...my mind was blown at the end of Problem Sleuth, where it had become a far cry from its beginnings.

I don't really have an efficient means to listen to it, but Newsarama's podcast concerns stuff in the comic book world and is all right.

S'all I got! I'm workin' on getting to your picture, still, but I have a good idea for it.

Well done, Ben -- nicely livening lj with this post. Much of the time when I think I might link to something on FB I see you've already linked. This makes it surprising that we actually look at different stuff. I'm happy my blog sits by Rachel's on your list; that's one we both regularly read. I'd answer your questions about apps if I could, but am asking many of them myself. On the subj of what to read, I also have basically nil to offer. Most of what I keep track of doesn't have particularly wide appeal: books, history, news and the news business, bikes and transportation issues, and of course people-I-know. My latest Google thingy is FastFlip, which is pretty good but a little too much weighted toward the pop end of the spectrum for my taste. I like some of the micro-blogging services, particularly soup.io and follow some of its blogs. Maybe a little too erudite, but the most enduring items on my follow list are Arts & Letters Daily, Cliopatria, Crooked Timber, Arts Journal, and Easily Distracted. -- Jeff
