Breifly, still working at the crappy office, but all offices are crappy and even though my pay blows I like the work so I will tolerate the idiocy that abounds.

Hey all.  I got a kitten.  She was born on April 14th and is a nut job.  I hear all kittens are, so I'm dealing.  I've never had a kitten before, so I'm not used to all the bites and scratches.  Her name is Wellington.  She was supposed to be a boy.  Being a girl was her 1st act of defiance.  (click below to see pictures)

I had to put my cat Faust to sleep last night.  I had him 2 years.  He was an old man, but my baby boy nonetheless.  He had diabetes and on Saturday night around 11:30pm I was cutting his fur and he didn't try to bite me, which was odd.  Then I moved him and he was limp and just flopped over.  I picked him up and put him on the floor and his legs ( Read more... )

One of my cats, Faust, is in the hospital.  He's old and I noticed him drinking a lot of water and getting thin.  Turns out it's diabetes.  This is costing me....a lot.  So the vet said he is responding well to treatment, however now I need to get insulin and inject him.  He also needs to eat special food.  They said that after the initial expense ( Read more... )
