This is seriously the saddest. I'm reading all the other comments calling it cute but WTF nooo this is so fucking sad. The fact that they're messing around while Andrew is in character and kind of using Jesse as Mark to figure things out--aaaaaaahhhh. I really loved it, though, and the voices were great. Could pretty much hear them in my head the whole way through. Also, this is your first RPF fic?! Props, man.

HM. I read this comment immediately and I have been trying to figure out how to respond to it - it's always awesome when someone has a different reading than everyone else. It's not meant to be super sad, but definitely somewhat bittersweet. I kind of think of Jesse and Andrew as extremely professional, putting in the 14-hour days and sort of immersing themselves in the script - hence why the each get so sensitive when someone criticizes their characters - so much that they rip each scene apart to get to the bottom of it. It's almost a testament to how much Andrew values Jesse's opinion that he's using him as a sounding board and I think a lot of times sex is like that - you're there but you have something tucked away in the back of your mind and the sheer physicality of sex helps you focus. lol I guess you can tell I'm a total romantic

I definitely see all of that in this story, and that's what I love so much about it, and them. It kind of goes beyond the standard crush on your costar to--to needing to fall for them in order to do your job. Serious method acting! And the whole time they were never divorced from their real selves entirely, the lines were so expertly blurred.

No way, I love hearing this kind of stuff! And am honored you shared it with me :) next time I will try to do my job better and convey all my feelings in the writing! is not even valid, omg. I think my comment was inadequate in expressing how I felt, to be honest. It wasn't that this came off as depressing or anything, but the fact that you dug so deep and established such realistic... motivations for them, especially Andrew, made it intrinsically sad? Or something? Haha does that make any sense?

This is so bittersweet. The mention of Andrew's voice halfway between his and Eduardo's as he's simultaneously blurring Eduardo's feelings with what he's doing to Jesse, who he's blurring with Mark, is really a gut-punch.

You have a fantastic way of using words to create something that is so unbearably real. Just a wonderful piece of fiction.

I'm really happy you liked it and that the blurring between themselves and their characters made an impact because I think it's one of the coolest things about this pairing.
