the IMWTIM (irresposible Mothers With TVs In Minivans) is petitioning to bring the things back the way they were when ron did not uptdate the journal. take your anger out somewhere else like art, kittens, or moms without TV in their minivans. why do the rich and snooty always get a bad rap?

My mom always disliked Dr. Spock. She raised four kids. Not that we are completely ok, but she could have done worse. I think most parents don't care for his advice. Regarding TV's in Minivans though, i think that aside from a basement or media room, the backs of minivans are quite possibly the only place where a TV may be good for kids. Granted, it would be ideal if they'd just look out the window and appreciate a 30-70 mph view of the great outdoors, but if the motion sickness doesn't get to them, a short attention span will, and TV's are the world's greatest distraction for kids who want to do gymnastics in a moving vehicle. The one place i don't want parents paying to much attention to their kids is in the driver's seat. Most parents i know that have a problem with the mature themes of television programming really have just gotten rid of their TVs. Personally, i'm bored of shock value being the theme of most programming these days, but that seems to be a good thing, cuz i find myself reading and doing art(the kind you look at) a ( ... )

I think TVs are one of the sources of my short attention span. (I do have one - ask Anna) That's not to say it isn't from other things, but TV certainly was a factor. As are computers, honestly. Everything's got to be here now now now or I lose interest.

So how about them Eagles..?
