OK, don't really have propane.  Hot water tank is apparently not working and there's a significant propane leak.  Got lucky and found the leak in an easy to work on spot (thank God it wasn't in the floor boards and may he be mercifucl and let it be the only one).  Unhooked the propane and won't have time to mess with it till tomorow.  Now I get to ( Read more... )

Thanks, I'll keep all this for future reference. Turns out the problem was my pressure regulator. I pulled it and now the water is fine. I'll have to keep an eye out for one that works better.

I do foresee having trouble with the manager of this place at some point though. He just doesn't do anything. I've been here a week and he still hasn't bothered to get me a lease to sign. I suspect he's already forgotten and I'm curious how long till he realizes he needs to get rent from me. At least that's one issue I'm not gonna worry too much about.

Yesterday while working on my trailer a group of fire marshalls walked through freaking out over some of the stuff here. There's going to be a LOT of fines levied here from all the outbuildings and sheds that aren't permitted or up to code, and the paperwork mess from that may keep the idiot from ever getting around to notifying the owners I'm here or charging me rent.

This is all going to make such an awesome story someday.
