Dearest Log: Cancer is tough. It's tough because you don't know how best to approach anything. Why? Because it's cancer. It's major and what I can say dear log or to anyone reading this.... Never forget it's "majorness." No one's cancer journey will ever be the same. Why?? Because no cancer is the same.

My heart is sad and I am lonely. I find myself feeling lonely most days. Nothing I do seems to help. The only time the loneliness goes away is when I'm with Robert. He calms me in away I dont think I ever have been. I feel safe. I feel heard. I feel loved.

Im so happy to have him in my life but the ship sailed on us a long time. ( Read more... )

Tuesday is my surgery date. I sent this weekend and what feels like that last 3-4 weekends getting ready. I watched many videos and if someone said they needed it for recovery, I got it. So all we can do is push forward and just get to the recovery part ( Read more... )
