i fractured my tibia saturday, got my leg in a cast today, i lose.

holy crap...

my mental image... the van damme movie where his brother gets the crap beat out of him from the huge thai boxer... the scene where van damme is kicking the palm tree with his shins to the point where he knocks the tree over...

so what happened?

was doing 180 jumping knees and landed wrong, ridge of my foot folded up to the outside of my shin and the pressure popped the tibia, very strange injury. three doctors were looking at my x-ray going "wtf?"

probably wouldnt hurt so bad now if i hadnt walked on it for two days shrugging it off as just an ankle sprain

probably wouldn't be so bad if i had just said "you know... i've got this pain... i should go to the doctor!"

way to go internal sense of pride! "it doesn't hurt, it doesn't hurt... i've felt worse pain than this... i'm fine..."
