you know, if you've never experienced racism, first hand, it is easy to dismiss the uneasy feeling as being "paranoid". It took me moving to Okrahoma to shed my racist skin. I wasn't racist to *everyone* but my bias against latinos was very apparent and it has cost me friends, which is sad.
Now? I respect, so that I can be respected. Everyone has worth, but it took me way, way, way too long to learn that little gem.
