The company I work for is... reorganizing over the next 3 months. Starting next month, actually. I can't go into details on LJ, but is anyone's workplace hiring right now? Specifically for positions that a college grad with nothing but customer service and office experience can do ( Read more... )

The contractor position I used to have will open in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure what the hourly rate is but I can find out. It's a year contract. And my crappy ex-boss has been replaced with a real boss. It's mostly filing and data entry. Let me know if you're interested.

My email's in my profile--shoot me a resume. I'll ask about whether the req is open yet and get your resume to the appropriate person. The job has changed a bit since I did it, but I did it my first ten months at Apple. You distribute mail, you file, you archive stuff into binders, you do some data entry concerning the stuff in the binders, you send out W-9 forms, you make copies of stuff and you reach stuff down out of high places for me. *grin* I think it pays more than it did when I did it, as well (it was only $12/hr at the time, I think it may be a dollar or so more now). Both rosapuck and incognita have done it more recently than I have.
