What is it about Ronon that make his homecoming stories so fiercely good? I like the thoughtfulness of this, the way it never slips into exposition because it's memories, events and people and affection.
Ronon's fondness for his team fairly shines through this, as well as the fact that Bad Things have happened, but they will be OK because they are still together.
Lovely! Ronan's realizations about what he does/does not have to lose, the glimpses of life in this post-city reality...very evocative and touching. I'd really love to see more in this reality.
