Anko-ficage! Yo, so I get the feeling I'm making all the moves onto
yountilla's turf, while she very sneakily sneaks up on mine. Of course, the bottom-line difference is that she prefers to write OroAnko, while I prefer to run like hell away from it >) Still, I expect to start seeing Alex busting out the Ino femslash and Team 7 OT3 any day now

You totally are gay for Anko and Mikoto. YOU TOTALLY ARE. The question here is what am I doing tagging along on the ride to hell. I am a self-proclaimed fan of the younger gen, I do not do grown-ups, and I DO mean that in a scary, Humbert Humbert sort of way.
write you some InoSaku
Promises, promises... No really, I'm v. serious about it, one might say I am expecting it of you... :]

Hahaha, at least your het is the type of het I like. NejiHina all the way baby! That reminds me. I have two NejiHina djs that I wanted to scan for the comm. I can't see Sakura with anyone else but Lee so you have my support. And ShikaTem, hahahaha, I own hentai with them XD.
So go ahead, throw the het at me, as long as it is not SasuSaku, I will read it all like the 'ho I am.
*much love*

But this het streak, it seriously needs to be considered. I mean, wtf, self, wtf? Sure, whatwith the latest manga chapter freakout *cringes* it's natural I'd want to be writing Shikamaru. Then again, knowing my proclivities, you'd just think I'd be busting out some Team 10 action or something >_<
No SasuSaku, I promise. Unless someone challenges me to do it for wishlist or something D:

In particular, the way you write from Ibiki's perspective is believable and consistent; the way you describe Anko, perched on the training pole, sitting on the edge of the roof, one leg dangling under... the references to the lightness of her frame all coalesce around the counterpoint of the song reference, which you brilliantly do not quote, making the reader pull it out of her own memory, which integrates the story more fully into our own associations of learning to fly on broken wings.
Beautiful. Just. Stunning.

I think it's somewhat difficult to romanticize Anko - no wait, I lied, I can turn just about anything into melodrama :\ - but the song just fits her so well for some reason. I didn't even think of it until I started putting down all the bird references, and then the next scene just came on like that! It's something we all need to learn at some point in our lives.

And thanks for the good hopes.
