Anko-ficage! Yo, so I get the feeling I'm making all the moves onto yountilla's turf, while she very sneakily sneaks up on mine. Of course, the bottom-line difference is that she prefers to write OroAnko, while I prefer to run like hell away from it >) Still, I expect to start seeing Alex busting out the Ino femslash and Team 7 OT3 any day now ( Read more... )

First, I think you should know that it started to rain where I live just as I was reading the part where it rains. The overall noise of the rain swelled and began to be offset by the tinkling of water over the rim of our clogged gutters exactly when these two made it into bed. Quite the astounding reading experience, I must say. *in awe*

This was glorious, and I have always thought that Ibiki/Anko would be a fascinating pairing to write about. I love the way you portrayed them, especially all of Ibiki's questions in the dialogue--the ever vigilant interrogateur. Giving Anko the non-sequitors was the perfect touch.

Oh how I love thee! ^_~ *squeeeees*

Huck, ambience FTW ^^ It's actually moving into the dry season where I live, so I'm kind of missing the rain. Well, if you can't have something, make it up in your fictional world. Now if only that didn't sound as crazy as it does :D

Totally beautiful!!!
Those two have so many pain in their pasts, that they have to share it in order to chase away the ghost at nights.

I loved it.

AND I had the ambient too. It's raining like a bitch here.

Absolutely freaky with the rain O_O I wish I had that as I was writing, would have made things a little easier *grumblegrumble*

Thanks so much for reading! ^^

Not to sound like a broken record but, um, it's raining here, too. (Truth is stranger than fiction, perhaps; sometimes it is just that simple.)

I really enjoyed the tone of this - dark and poetic, but without being purple - the many loops and layers of history that are present in the narrative give it a depth that just reaches for the ol' heartstrings and tugs. Even so, the lack of out and out lyricism is nice (the “Watch it, Mitarashi. Alcohol’s making you maudlin” quip was perfect for the story and the two characters.)

In short? ♥.

I am constantly surprised by the heaven's willingness to oblige me. Perhaps I have at last made my peace *iz hopeful*

Thank you for reading! I'm glad I avoided the much dreaded label of the ol' purple prose :)
