I can only cope with the ones like in my icon, that was Monday's spider. This morning's was a beastie!!

Put paper over top of glass. Carry glass downstairs. Open back door. Put glass on side, remove paper. Wander off for a while. Come back, examine glass.

Feel glee if spider has moved out. If spider hasn't moved out, contemplate pouring a small amount of water in glass. This usually makes the little blighters MOVE.
