Why do I feel compelled to write in this journal at the strangest times? I just cannot make the break from actual pen and paper that often. There is something that is still therapeutic about the glide of ink onto really pulpy paper. Maybe it has to do with the fact that on a computer, there is no evidence of emotion. Ugh. I caught some evil Spanish flu. I just got back and was so happy to be home and then WHAM!
