He said he wanted to keep it for the entire summer. But now that he's heard the opinions of my mother and sister, I'm not sure if he is still going to go with that plan.

I don't like it either. Its a huge turn off to me. I like a guy with hair I can run my fingers through.

If he got bored of having hair, he'll get bored of the maintenance of keeping it shaved, and hair grows back quickly :)

Well, at least this way you can find out if he has a well-shaped head. Some people have dents and weird bumps.
It'll grow back quickly. Give it 2 months or so.
