oh my GOD, carol broke her hip?! that's horrible. i hope the surgery goes well and that she recovers quickly. as for the baby sich, that's additionally horrible. and i guess money only stretches so far. cheramie's mom sounds like the best idea... hopefully that will work, or maybe you could try to find another home-run daycare...? i don't know how these things work, sorry.

also, all of this sucks really, really fucking hard.

Unfortunately, Cheramie's mom is full--she just took on a new infant. Elissa's going to try to find the number of a lady she knows from church who babysits other people's kids, but she's not certified and I can't turn him over to just anyone. Better to have an empty wallet and a living kid than a dead one and a fistful of cash.

Apparently they're going to make her walk tomorrow already. After two or three days in the hospital, they'll ship her out to a nursing home, and she'll have to stay there for another few weeks.

Wow, and i thought i was the only person with the bad luck streak going on. I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, but Josh is right. Have faith it will get better!
