Yesterday the doc looked at my incision and said it was time to take the stitches out. There were only four to remove, but I dreaded that part more than the surgery, based on my last experience in the Surgery Department. It's day three after my thumb surgery. The surgeon insisted I stay home from work for three full days. Normally that would be wonderful news, but what the heck can I do at home with one hand swathed in bandages - my right hand at that.
