Thank you everyone who commented, called, prayed or thought about our family. They all really helped. I had been meaning to write a post all week but things have been surprisingly busy. Well then add the fact that I haven't really felt like it a few of the days ( Read more... )

I'm really proud of you for being able to speak like that, 'Rora. It must feel a little better to know you could say what you wanted to say to send her off and show people a little bit about who your sister was. I'm glad you have your family (and Scott) and they have you right now, because to have raised you to be like you are they must be incredibly strong people too.

I hope it helps knowing all of that. I don't usually pray but I'll keep thinking of you and say a prayer for you, your family and Bobbie.

*hugs* You really wrote/said something very beautiful there, Rora. I'm sure your sister would be proud of you. It seems like she was a wonderful person and I'm really sorry you had to lose her so soon. I'm glad you have such good memories, though. They may never truly take away the pain of what happened, I know, but I'm still glad you have them. I can't imagine what you are going through; you are being so incredibly strong.

I do remember meeting Bobbie back in 2004. I thought she was adorable. And she did indeed grow into quite the beautiful young lady.

My heart goes out to you and your family. *hugs*

The story of you convincing her that she was an alien was priceless Rory. *hugs*

I've been praying, actually I have churches all across Texas praying for you and your family. The amazing amount of strength you have shown (and your family) does not only surprise me (because I dont think I could do it) but it makes me smile.

I like Amy remember meeting her as well and how cute and funny she is. She did grow up to be a beautiful young lady. :)

My heart and my prayers are still with yall.

*hugs*

(and its just like texans to show you that in times of crisis we send food and flowers. ;) )

Thank you for sharing that. It's great to get a glimpse into the life of the person I've been praying about all week. I hope I don't sound too dismal when I say, from the point of view of an only child like myself, that you're so lucky to have had her in your life, if only for the short time you did. She's even luckier to have grown up with two sisters who fell in love with her before she was even born.

lol... and it's just like Protestants to not have enough seats and/or rooms to go around at a funeral, but still have too much food. Some day we must continue that little church discussion we started.

I'm glad there are uplifting moments midst the tragedy. You and your family continues to be in me and my family's prayers.

take care **hugs**
