I just want you and Scott to know that I really respect you both for sticking with what you believe in. I think too many people forget that elections are about EVERYONE getting to express an opinion, and that someone isn't "bad" or "wrong" for disagreeing with you. I know that your opinion is not the most popular among our peers and our age group, and I really admire you for still holding to it and not letting people change your mind. Your vote is your own. There would be no point in having a democracy if we didn't all get to have our own say.
As a friend and someone who probably voted differently than you did, I want you to know that not everyone sees things in such extreme terms. Go out there and vote and have your say. :)
(For the record, I don't think the world will end if either of them are elected. Let's get real, everybody.)
Awwww! Mine was free of old ladies, but I voted via absentee ballot. I panicked a lot last week waiting for it to come, but it ended up being a decent voting experience.

I would have made a simialr LJ post if I didn't only have three friends on here who already know my stance on things. lol
Isn't it also sad to see so many people our age who acted like getting to vote for President is something that only got invented this year???
I'm just glad that it's all over now.
