Well, I’m ready to come back to Boston. Only a couple more days and I’ll be heading back.

So I got a call at 4 this morning. My little sister Bobbie died in a car accident last night. I'm heading home today and it looks like Scott will be coming too.

I'm worried about my parents. My mom is numb, my dad isn't at all. They're going to have an empty nest a lot sooner than they thought, since Bonnie is heading off to college this year.

As I am attempting to decorate our new apartment and am buying Doctor Who posters of course. However, Scott proclaims that we are "not living in a Doctor Who house". That means I need to decide between 2 posters. Pick please!

A bit of reassuring news: I have been carrying a small thing of lotion in my backpack for many months now. The interesting part of this is that I have gone through security checkpoints at least 3 times and they have yet to actually see it....comforting.

Well I finished by first thing of jury duty and survived to tell the tale. It actually ended up going for two days which I wasn't anticipating. Though, it was good that I didn't have anything dire to do. I missed work one day but I'm not heartbroken over it ( Read more... )
