I got an email today saying to ignore my news of yesterday. While I still will be going somewhere, they need to re-evaluate where.

And the Fulbright emotional roller coaster continues...:-)

I now know where I am going in Chile! I have officially been assigned as an English Teaching Assistant at the Universidad Catolica de la Santisima Concepcion in Concepcion, Chile. I just learned today that a good friend from IWU is going to the Dominican Republic for two years to teach. I am so excited for, and proud of, her that I had to post it here. Quick moment of pride :-) I watched Pan's Labyrinth tonight and was able to stay in control. If you have not seen it, I can now say that it is an excellent film that conveys the horrors of the Spanish Civil War in a very creative way...but that it's intense.
