green finch and linnet bird

Haven't seen it in more than twenty years; our college's Todd was wonderfully demonic and could sing like and angel (he made me cry during a department recital) but aside from the pie woman the others were only okay. Still remember how creepy the judge was, though, omg, and Rickman?

...Going to have to see this one.

Did you ever see the Broadway cast? The did a DVD of it and it was... amazing. Ripped your heart right out.

But to me, the spareness of the stage was half the show, you know? It will be interesting to see if it's as impactful when it's all fleshed out.

Check out the trailer; they gave him grayish hair, and he looks good.

I am SO excited about seeing this film; I knew that Alan Rickman was in it, but I just found out that Anthony Stewart Head ('Giles' from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) is in it too. *squee*

I just wish we could have heard a bit more of Johnny singing - there wasn't enough for me to tell whether he was any good or not!

I just loved him in Dogma! Oh, and Robin Hood! The spoon-bit was brilliant! (though that was possibly just the writers and their brilliance, but hey, a text is nothing without an interpretor ;D)

(BTW, this is Niroc, but in a different form, just in case you were wondering... i'll be using this account for my time in France)
