smoky mountain update

We are here in North Carolina, where it has been unseasonably cool. It was in the low 50s the other night! We brought only summer weight clothes and sheets, so we had to go to JC Penney to buy fleece blankets. There has been thunder, lightning and rain every day since we arrived. Wow, congratulations on getting to your new home! (I am very impressed with your kitties; mine consider the four-minute drive to the vet to be apocalyptic.)

Thank you. I was pretty amazed, too, since I expected our loud kitty to cry the entire way and keep everyone on the plane awake. Calvin and Hobbes were much worse and like yours, considered anytime in the car to be a sign of certain doom.
