So when I opened up the main page to log in to LJ? The Lowes advertisement has a picture of my dog. Or, actually, a harlequin great dane. With cropped ears instead of Merlin's floppy ones. Th week leading up to Christmas sucked. It was one near disaster after the next. Dogs ripiing up xmas presents, kids sick, getting locked out of my house even with a key. Back from our Thanksgiving trip. Very short. But for that trip, that's a good thing. I kept having dreams that I would go off on Dustin's step mother. One dream I wound up hitting her. Testing the waters
I have a class in Baton Rouge on Thursday until 430. And the soccer team scheduled a meet that afternoon. (Last minute, sigh)
So Dustin called Brenda and asked her to help out by picking up the kids that afternoon.
She agreed. We'll see how this goes, I guess. Finger licked, heart crossed, eyes closed, making the wish.
