He seems to be getting better. I just want to be able to get to his doctor. Thursdays was the nurse that does your visit when you come for shots. And the er doc was great, but I need follow up. Between Thursday and Saturday he wound up with an ear infection. While on antibiotics. Which means that's either weird, the nurse didn't catch it, or it was building and since the dosing is different for ear vs. throat it didn't do anything for it.
And he's generally such a happy, pleasnt baby that only fusses a bit when hungry or tired, this is so out of the norm. Tears are not his thing.
It's a respiratory virus. Most people that get it think they have a cold. And it's not that bad. But when babies get it, it varies. With Miles, he wound up getting bronchitis. So he's on a bronchio type med that helps open up his airways to let him breathe better. It's an asthma med. We call them breathing treatments here. Only the one they gave him is a syrup and not an aerosol.
I'm taking him to his doc on Tuesday. They aren't open Mondays. I think we're through the worst. I hope anyway. He's sleeping better and not coughing as much. His appetite is lousy, though. I'm struggling to keep him hydrated. He's not thowing up. Just needs lots of fluids. I got him some juice and he seems to like it. Just fights the bottle. Not sure if it's his teeth, his throat, the position, or if he's gassy. Or it could be the meds making him bleh. He's on an antibiotic, too.
