 Strange,
when all I'm doing is fighting to go against time,
fight to hold time to finish up my work.
Fight to keep time so I have more rational brains to think about the research paper.
So that I have time to redeem myself from my cui grades.

Strange that,
the more I try to fight time, 
the more time I want to myself.

Today I went past a car that looks familiar,
like my uncle's.

And the face inside was strangely familiar,

I too, wish that there will be no challenges or whatsoever.
And that life would be a bed of roses.

But life is all about goodbyes.

Because the people who are worth it;
they are worth a hundred genuine goodbyes we could ever give.

Because by saying goodbye,
we are saying that they'll have a lifetime's worth of space in our hearts.
