Writer's Block: Secret Ballot
For me it was a little weird. My voting place was a local firestation. I wasn't really sure where to go and I didn't want to go in the wrong place and get busted somewhere I shouldn't be by the firemen. I wish I had listened
Someone told me not to take the class I'm taking now. But then my advisor and several other people told me it would "be best" if I took it. I hate it...and the professor. There is too much work and I'm learning very little. So what is the point? I wish I had listened to Kate when she told me not to take it ( Read more... ) -
Fall 08...so far
Okay so I know the semester has just started but OH MY GOD! It's gonna be a rough one. I somehow managed to save the two hardest classes for last and am taking them simultaneously. Stuck in a rut
So for all of you that are aware of this yahoo thing...It still isn't resolved. My password was changed on me without my knowledge or consent. They have admitted that my email was hacked into. Good stuff
I was talking to a lady I work with last night. She used to be a big lady but she lost a LOT of weight and is now a healthy size for her. She's still concerned about losing weight though. She had diabetes so she has to be really careful about what she eats. She went through my line with a bunch of stuff that was pretty much good for you. ( Read more... ) -

Well, for a while now, my professors have told me that I have to see the movie Sicko by Michael Moore. I was a bit skeptical at first. I saw Fareinheit 911 when it came out. While there was a lot of things that I agreed with, it was not hard to see that it was a very skewed movie. I don't think it's fair for anyone to take facts and skew them ( Read more... )
