Would it be too much to ask for a continuation of this storyline? I find it excellent and think it might be very interesting to see what the rest of the crew thinks of this arrangement...

Excellent ficlets, I signed up on livejournal just to leave a comment only to find that my words weren't adequately arranged several times. Mal and River or Mal and Kaylee are possibly the hottest pairings I can think of in Firefly, you write Mal/River most excellently.
