I couldn't be arsed to do a review for every day of Children of Earth, so I just threw it all into one thing. I just finished Day 5. So, here are my thoughts.

Long story short, one of my favorite characters died.
He ain't in the ground yet, so I'm hoping he does a Tony and just comes back mysteriously with an explanation for everything.

Hey, you never know. Writers have been known to do some cracktastic things. If I've learned anything from TV, it's that NO CHARACTER ACTUALLY DIES. Even if you DO see him injected in the heart with a lethal substance and watch him die yourself, THAT DON'T MEAN JACK SHIT. >>;

Story-wise, I think Ianto's death does work, provided that Jack appears in the Doctor Who specials coming up. 'cause it's like the thing that pushes Jack away into space where he might bump into the Doctor for a uber-awesome Ten-finale.
