One month of quarantine

I'm wrapping my head around the fact that it's already been one month since we decided to stay home: just half a week before the whole town followed suit

I'm so sorry about all the loss around you. I know that even when it's not one of your own family members, seeing others go through this is really difficult, especially for a sensitive person like you, Rose. God bless you for feeling so much for others...

Crazy how fast this month went! We were on the early side of the "stay home" order as well... The kids were sent home 3/12 with packets of work to work remotely.

It's amazing how much changed so quickly. When we decided to stay home, one of my friends thought we were overreacting a bit. Less than 4 days later, they were all home, too.

My boss (who lives in Iowa) was like this is a huge over reaction and I was like... ummm the national guard just got brought in to quarantine a city about 20 minutes from my house.... and you want me to work in the territory around that? Yikes. Since last week though it sounds like people are starting to change their tune again and are calling this an overreaction... you saw Michigan I'm guessing....

The incredible short-sightedness and selfishness of some people is making me really angry. The fact that they're selfishness is being encouraged by politicians and corporations drives me near mad.
