This is good news, our niece (and all the peace corps folks who were there) is safely out of Mali and she was going to come home but instead she is being immediately reassigned to her dream position, working in an AIDS clinic and orphanage in Botswana. Well, I didn't cry. It was good! The new psych is great. We have a behavior plan we all agreed to, and we have a plan to meet again in a few weeks to write more goals and to meet with the OT and speech therapists. I will write more later but it was a good meeting. Thank you all for the thoughts.

I'm just thiiiiis close to a panic attack today. I seem to have totally fucked up Rose's insurance for therapy, I just hope I can fix it, and I know I'm going to cry in this stupid meeting. I'm having one of those days when I desperately want someone better qualified to come run our life.

The new chapter: the meeting to go over the "behavioral support plan" is this wednesday. I made them send me a draft of it and it is RIDICULOUS. Well, my advocate person wrote a letter to the administration, and I wrote one to the IEP team, both asking for a new psychologist, and we get one. Apparently all we had to do was ask. Weird.
