It seems the weather will be warming up this week (or at the very least, not dipping below zero), so I may get to buy my flowers after all. I have a beef with people and the concept of "strategic voting". I understand the 'lesser of two evils' mentality, but here's the thing. It fucks up the democratic process. If you believe the NDP would do the best job, but vote Liberal to keep out the EEEVIL Conservatives, then you're denying your support to the party you actually support. Now ( Read more... ) -

I made a bunch of roses and pseudo gerber daisies tonight for a certain someone's birthday-- messy! Then Troy and I sat down to watch the end of the CCMA's, and my crush, Paul Brandt. *heart*

On my way to the mall to buy a kick-ass "hire-me" outfit, there were three cruisers parked outside of ye old Fillion house. The officers seemed fairly casual, considering there were probably six or so of them called there.

Yesterday, we packed up early to head out to Falcon for the day. It was the 2nd bi-annual (or maybe even tri-annual?) Shearer family reunion. It seemed to be a smaller group this time, but some new faces too. My cousin, once-removed Ed, and his girlfriend Paula from the U.K. were there.
