I'm so very sorry, Aine. That's really, really sad.

As you said, you couldn't have known, and you were panicking, and you did *everything* you could. Hugs.

Brigit, aka St. Brigid looks after bunnies.
I will have a word with her; to make sure she tells you little ones that you tried as hard as you did.

Oh Marie...there really is no way you could have known that a river would rip through the mall and the current where they were would be so strong that it would flip the cage. There are so many people who are really truly cruel to animals...in horrific ways....and that is just not you. You did the best you could with the knowledge that you have and really that is all that you can ask of yourself. And in their little bunny brains all they remember of you is food, cuddles, and love...it is the water that you should direct your anger at...the river...the rain. Sometimes horrible things happen for reasons no one understands--this is one of those sad times.

Hugs.

Grieve the passing of the wee fuzzy ones but do not beat yourself up about it. You could not know and you had to look out for your safety first.

You did all you could, and the people who are important KNOW that. As to the creeps who say mean things, well...FUCK 'EM. Heartless insensative bastards the lot of 'em.

Your bunnies are safe in The Fields Beyond now, and they know you love them.
