Saturday: I couldn’t sleep - my mind was planning parties and reliving the awesome night I had had. Friday: Breda drove us to the clinic and dropped us off. Fortunately, Zuul was out taking a little scoot with his bicycle and returned at that time to let us in. I have no idea where the security guy is at these times. Thursday: Felt great today again. I’m really kinda liking this feeling - lol! I brought my dirty clothes to the guy in the laundry and dropped it off. He says Good Morning so clearly every day that I thought he knew a bit of English. Wednesday: I feel wonderful! I was so active and had so much energy. But there’s nothing to do! I flooded my parents email with tons of sends about meaningless things - things I had found on the internet. A joke here, a little recipe there. Did that for two hours. Watched four movies today. Tuesday: Colic at 4:30 am, 8:30 am, and 4:45 pm. All medical and seemingly mild. Was SO hot out this morning (at 5 am) - I just walked in and went straight for the shower - lol. Was supposed to get to 102 degrees. Ate a cheese toast sandwich this morning! But that didn’t last long… Ate bowl of soup for lunch. HORRIBLE heartburn for some ( Read more... )

Monday: Another quiet day. Season is gone - so there’s nothing on the books except two shock wave therapy horses, which I have nothing to do with. Again felt ok in the morning but felt crappy in the afternoon. Supposed to hit 100 degrees, but actually was 104 degrees! But only about 35% humidity.

Sunday: Felt good in morning - but afternoon became bad again. Quiet day. Arthroscopy - actually made it through it all! Had to sit, but was there!

Saturday: Feeling slightly better but not 100%. Jami took me to the American Hospital. They were very, very nice there. Started IV fluids and metoclopramide and buscopan IV. Felt wonderful except very hungry. So hungry, in fact, that I was starting to feel sick again. Jami took me to the supermarket to get some soup and crackers and yogurt… ( Read more... )
