Yay, I am home! I'm partially unpacked and just barely started going through all my pictures, but I wanted to get one thing checked off my list: my June 12 of 12. Thankfully, my day was one of the more emotional, meaningful days I've had in quite some time.

( That's mostly due to the fact that it took place in my mother's hometown of China Grove, North Carolina. )

Hey, North Carolina? In case I haven't mentioned it recently, I *heart* you.

If any of you out there go to salons to get professional pedicures, I hope you know what I'm going through for you. Just to make sure that you have the best scrubs, soaks, foot files, toe separators. This monstrous spreadsheet, these 18 pages of sidebar copy, all of these emails begging PR people far and wide who apparently never check their email ( Read more... )

Our "gamble" with Craig's List paid off and we ended up with three lower bowl seats 15 rows up from the ice during the Sharks/Kings game last night. AND they were on the Sharks shooting end for two of three periods.
