I haven't posted on LiveJournal since 2008. It's 2010 now!

Updates, well, a lot has changed. I've been applying to graduate schools, thinking about getting married, and just in general doing my best to finish up my degree. I miss NYC, but have a nice circle of friends up here in Albany (who I will also miss when I go away to graduate school).

Saw this on tv, csi to be exact. It made me think.

Stuck at school since hannukah has started early this year (I think) and it's the middle of finals time. I never missed any of the religious activities of my family, last year candle lighting seemed like a needless and empty chore to be done with. In the course of litterally ten minutes we went from clear skies to torrential rain, to hail. The sewers can never keep up when this happens. They already have nine double size storm drains on our block alone. We sit at the bottom of two hills... so... this is what I see out of my window right now:
