It's funny because the nature of my paper journal is about private musings and being an anger/frustration/depression outlet, but when I post my thoughts online they seem forced because I'm too aware that someone else might read it and pass judgement. Don't worry, you're definitely connecting, so keep at it. I really enjoy reading you even if I don't always post. The schizophrenic houseguest episodes were creepy and yet made great reading in this weird vicarious "wow, that poor couple!" sort of way.

Work has kept me too busy to post much myself. It doesn't help that I can only get on LJ from work and not from home, where my ISP blocks it for whatever reason...

thanks you guys, I know one musn't measure ones worth by the size of ones comments, but it makes me feel extra special to know that I'm not just typing into the void. None of my immediate family or friends has an LJ so I can't get their feedback (and maybe that's part of the allure). So thanks again, you've made my day!
