I think the government's latest announcement is sending my father prematurely grey. He's been talking about it non-stop. I don't think even he knows what to make of it. It's been bothering me, though... do normal police weapons really even stand a chance against these things?

Franziska, don't tell me you're still skeptical about what happened to the president. Even the major newspapers are reporting that whoever killed him wasn't an ordinary human, and that spectre wasn't a prank. But what was that thing? It must've been a demon or something like that. I met someone at one of those boring parties yesterday, Franziska. She was better conversation than anyone else at those places. I can't stand having to go to those damn parties. Anyway, I haven't found out any more about what I was researching, either. I think I've hit a dead end.

Something weird happened to me yesterday, really weird.
